Michael Warren will perform at Alabaster CityFest on Saturday, June 2, on the Main Stage at 3 PM.
Warren hooked his fans early, and continues to make them proud to support him as he climbs the ladder to stardom. Originally from Hoover, Alabama, Michael wasted no time working towards his musical dream.
He has performed other major music festivals in Alabama including Birmingham City Stages, Huntsville Big Spring Jam, Montgomery Jubilee and Mobile Bayfest. He has opened for Robert Cray, B.B. King, Gladys Knight, Will Hoge, Howie Day, Marc Broussard, Live, Gin Blossoms, Steppenwolf, Master P, Taylor Hicks and Michael Tolcher.
Michael has also performed with the USO for our Troops in Europe.
Warren is one of the songwriters of “Goin’ In,” a 2012 radio hit for Jennifer Lopez. The catchy party anthem, featuring Flo Rida and an uncredited Lil Jon, topped Billboard’s chart for Hot Dance Club Songs in the United States and made a significant splash overseas. Warren also has writing credits on songs recorded by teen heartthrob Cody Simpson (“Summertime,” “Summer Shade”), R&B sensation Toni Braxton “No Way,” and British boy band JLS (“One Shot”).
On his debut album, Michael runs the gamut of life’s experiences. He portrays the emotional depths of finding love in “From the Moment” and the hurtful anger of losing it in “Go Back.”
