The Alabaster Arts Council and our title sponsors Central State Bank and Coca-Cola are proud to announce Cam Spinks as the 3:00 music act at the 17th Annual Alabaster CityFest on June 1, 2019.

Born in the small town of Montevallo, Alabama, Cam Spinks’ southern roots are hard to miss. It was during college in Birmingham where he began to explore guitar and songwriting. Over the years, he dedicated himself to honing his craft.

His ability to transition between smooth and gritty singing brings his catchy yet sophisticated lyrics to life. His desire to separate himself from the mainstream country crowd draws the interest of listeners looking for something with a little more depth than your standard radio hit. Inspirations include various 80s and 90s country artists, as well as the likes of Jason Isbell, Chris Stapleton, Cross Canadian Ragweed and Tom Petty.

He has opened for Adam Hood, Whitey Morgan and various up-and-coming artists. He has won multiple songwriting competitions, most recently the Workplay Theatre Songwriter Series in Birmingham.

You can follow Cam on Facebook here and sample his music on Spotify.
